My lower back gets stiff after sitting all day. Twenty minutes on the couch in the evening and I can actually get up without that groan. Very easy to figure out.

What customers say after their first weeks.
Why most TENS units end up in a drawer
Read enough TENS reviews and the same complaints keep coming up: menus nobody understands, batteries that die halfway through, and pads that lose their grip and can't be replaced. ReliefPro is built around fixing exactly those.
Choose your pads
Both versions work with the same controller. The only difference is the pad, and the right pad makes every session more comfortable.
Large musclesFirm black pads with a conductive carbon layer that spreads the current evenly across the whole pad. They hold their shape and stay put on large, flat muscles.
Joints and curvesSoft, breathable pads with a fabric back that bends with your body. They follow curves and joints and feel gentle on the skin.
Quick ruleBig muscle areas or EMS: pick Shield. Joints, curves or sensitive skin: pick Non-woven. Aches in several places? Start with Non-woven, it works almost everywhere.
Your first session takes about five minutes to set up. After that it's two.
Plug in the USB-C cable until the screen shows a full battery. No AAA batteries needed.
Push the lead wires into the controller, then click a pad onto each lead.
Wipe the area with water and let it dry. No lotion or oil, so the pads stick well and last longer.
Peel off the film and press the pads flat on or around the sore area, at least an inch apart.
TENS for relief, EMS for muscle work, or massage. Turn it up one step at a time until it's strong but comfortable.
After about 20 minutes, switch off. Peel the pads off by the edge and put them back on their film.
Where to place the pads
You feel a light tingle straight away. Turn it up until it's clearly noticeable, never sharp or painful.
Back
Where to place the pads
Place two pads on each side of the spine, level with the sore spot, about a hand's width apart. Never directly on the spine.
TipUse Shield pads here. Can't reach? Place them sitting down, or ask someone once.
Where to place the pads
On the back of the shoulder or the muscle between neck and shoulder. Never on the front or sides of the neck, or on the head.
TipUse small Non-woven pads. Start lower here, this area is more sensitive.
Where to place the pads
Above and below the kneecap, or on both sides of it, on the soft tissue. Not on the kneecap itself.
TipUse Non-woven pads, they bend with the joint. Keep the knee slightly bent while placing them.
Where to place the pads
Flat on the side of the hip, the back of the thigh or the calf, along the muscle. Not on the shin bone or ankle.
TipUse Shield pads for large muscles and for EMS sessions.
Where to place the pads
On the forearm muscle below the elbow, or above and below the sore spot. Not on the bony point of the elbow.
TipUse small Non-woven pads and rest the arm on a table.
Where to place the pads
On the sole of the foot or the soft area beside the ankle. Not on the ankle bone.
TipUse Non-woven pads and sit with your foot resting flat on the floor.
Always follow the instructions for use in the box.
Make your pads last
Pads that stop sticking are the number one complaint about TENS units. Most of the time it comes down to how they're cleaned and stored.

Pick by where it aches. Shield pads are firmer and spread the current evenly over large muscles: best for the back, hips, thighs and EMS. Non-woven pads are soft and flexible: best for the neck, shoulders, knees, elbows, feet and sensitive skin. Aches in several places? Non-woven works almost everywhere.
Back, neck and shoulders (back of the neck only), arms, elbows, wrists, hips, thighs, knees, calves and feet. Never on the head, the front or sides of the neck, or across the chest.
TENS sends gentle pulses to the nerves under the skin and is used for temporary relief of sore and aching muscles. EMS makes the muscle contract and relax, which feels like a workout or deep massage. Start with TENS if you're new.
A light tingling or tapping under the pads. You turn it up step by step until it's clearly noticeable but comfortable. It should never feel sharp or painful. If it does, turn it down.
A session is about 15 to 20 minutes. Follow the session limits in the instructions for use, and give your skin a break between sessions.
Yes. Place the pads while sitting, with the controller switched off, then turn it on. If you can't reach, ask someone to place them once and you'll know the spot.
They're reusable for many sessions if you use them on clean, dry skin and store them on their film. When a pad loses grip, a drop of water on the gel often brings it back. Replace it once it no longer lies flat.
With the included USB-C cable, from any USB plug or computer. No batteries to buy.
Don't use it with a pacemaker or other implanted device, a heart condition (unless your doctor approves) or epilepsy. Ask your doctor first if you're pregnant, have had recent surgery or have cancer.
